I went for Bob Marley Birthday celebration on a Friday evening. There was a DJ and a band playing Bob Marley covers. The ambiance was so nice. I tried the jerk chicken for the first time and it was amazing. I had a friend who saw mine and ordered some. They texted me the next day how good it was. I've also recommended this place to my coworkers and they've enjoyed the food here as well.

Every time we head down to the Detroit area I have to make a special trip here to bring back to my husband. The service is friendly and they do not skimp on the portions.

Frequent Flyer Here! I've been coming to this spot for about a year, and I'd definitely recommend it. As a big fan of Jamaican food, I've been on the lookout for a place that serves authentic Boston-style dishes--and this place hits the mark! Their jerk chicken is my go-to: flavorful, juicy, and saucy, just the way I like it. I've dined in a few times, and service is always quick and friendly. My only wish is for a bit more rice and cabbage with the meal, but overall, it's still fantastic!

First time! I'll definitely try again. I got the curry chicken roti. The roti and the chicken were awesome! Great flavor on the curry. The roti was fresh made. The cons is that with tip I paid $20 for carry out. The dinner should come with rice & peas, cabbage and plantain. I didn't get those things just a side of plain rice. Kinda feels like they don't like me! Lol but I will try one more time before I run back to my favorite Caribbean Citchen

This place has been on my radar for quite some time. Glad I visited! I had the brown stewed whole red snapper with rice and peas, steamed cabbage and fried sweet plantains. Best Jamaican food I ever had! And certainly the best red snapper that I ever had! Loved the brown stew (actually reminded me a little of a moo shu sauce). And washed it down with some fantastic homemade Jamaican ginger beer [For those that do not know, this is not an alcoholic drink. It is a drink made with filtered water, lemon, brown cane sugar and ginger]. VERY CLEAN RESTAURANT WITH PHENOMENAL SERVICE from Anastasia. They serve Jamaican and Trini food, and my understanding is that they sometimes also have specials highlighting other Carribean nations too. Loved listening to the Jamaican and Afrobeat music while eating. Will visit again soon! See my pics.

Came on a Friday evening for their karaoke event. They were out of oxtails and jerk chicken, whomp whomp :( . I ended up ordering the jerk shrimp. Their menu is extensive and the prices are great, in my opinion. They weren't doing dine-in but you could order carry out and eat it at the tables. They also have a variety of alcoholic beverages. The jerk shrimp was very spicy and seasoned perfectly as was the cabbage. I wish I had received more plantain, it was so good and I only had two pieces. My friend ordered red snapper which was also very tasty. The jerk shrimp were huge and plentiful! Another friend got the Mac and cheese and initially I didn't care for it but that's cuz it was piping hot. Once it cooled a bit and "set up" it was amazing as well. I plan to for sure go back for the oxtails! Friday karaoke was also super fun, the hostess was subbing for the usual host but they need to make her permanent because her energy was so fun!!

So Carribean Chill n Grill was pretty good. I ordered (from top left), lamb chops, jerk shrimp, and jerk oxtails (sooo good). I got the lamb chops and shrimp aka cart, the meals come with rice/beans, cabbage and plantains. They were featured on Channel 4's Tasty Tuesday, but they were very short handed! Mr Richard and another lady were working carry out and inside diners, and there was one cook. So, pack your patience, the food was worth the wait.
